If you don't have time for exercise, you will sooner or later need to find time for ill health. (See recent obesity, cancer & diabetes levels in the UK over the past 30 years)
More fat = Less mitochondria/aerobic enzymes (which are found in muscles)
The idea therefore is to increase exercise in order to decrease fat and in turn increase muscles mass within the body. (Do not decrease nutrition/calorie in take) If anything - increase nutrition. (You wouldn't fill a car with half a tank of petrol and expect to drive to Manchester and back). Eat more - Burn more
Aim to increase muscle & reduce fat. Weight WILL NOT change. (What will change)?
More muscle = More mitochondria/Aerobic enzymes
Mitochondria/Aerobic enzymes speed up metabolism in muscles (Break down fats/carbohydrates faster). The diet is extremely important at this stage. We do not want to remove fats for example as these are a great source of energy and the body needs fats to survive
More muscles = greater ability to work aerobically. (Breakdown of Fats/Carbs). If we work aerobically this reduces the stress on our heart
We want to work aerobically for as long as we can in order to burn the fuels in our body. It also allows for less fatigue at lower intensities and better recovery which in turn gives us more energy
With improved fotness comes reduced stress on our heart = more efficient transport of nutrients to the body = healthier/happier (less stressed) individual
The key is to increase muscle mass at first in order for the other systems to kick in
Healthy amount of muscle = greater efficiency of the body. Other systems that kick in = Heart & Circulatory, Musculoskeletal, Nervous and Endocrine systems (All the things that in some ways are beyond our control)
People are simply 'unconditioned' ie not exactly where they want to be
With 86Thousand400 training programmes we will get you where you need to be a lot quicker and a lot more efficiently by providing the correct training programmes (intensities) specific to you :)
