86Thousand400: 74Core Training

With regards to our 74Core training and the analogy of going to somewhere such as Sandhurst the idea is that you push yourself short term in order to make all areas of life easier in the future.

In today’s society a great deal of people would describe themselves as ‘un fit’ or ‘unconditioned’, as I’m sure a lot of potential future soldiers feel when they arrive at the gates of Sandhurst.

The idea is that after a sustained period of time of the 74Core training programme, or I’m sure through the training one would receive at Sandhurst is that you start to become more ‘conditioned’.

Throughout the year these wannabe soldiers get put through their paces and in turn, no doubt they become fitter both mentally and physically. As a result when they return back into the big wide world I have no doubt that everyday tasks become easier for them.

Also, and maybe going off on a slight tangent they probably value life quite highly as they are reinforced about just how quickly it can all be taken away. With regards to this we believe that the training/life skills one must learn through the training at Sandhurst must be fantastic.

We won’t claim to offer the services of Sandhurst with our training, however we would genuinely like to believe that after a 74Core Fitness programme, not only will you start to feel physically fitter but you will also start to feel mentally stronger too.

Again a slight tangent, but we do feel there is a link…! The extreme of the training is war.

As it’s well documented - a lot of soldiers who come back from war arrive home with large traumas and as a result can lead to psychological and social problems down the line.

In some ways we feel like this is a bit of an analogy with fitness and training on the whole. I.e Go to Sandhurst (the gym) - get healthy. But don't go to War. (I.e to the extremes) - Body builder phase.

Within life, many people have plenty of unseen traumas of their own, so our goal with 74core fitness is to push you over short periods of time physically with the aim of getting you to be the very best version of yourself in all areas of your life.

The brain body link is extremely well documented these days, so if you want to get a little bit physically fitter ‘more conditioned’ or you simply want to ‘get out of your own head’ every now and again then do feel free to get in touch as we would love to help you with your fitness/health or life goals! J
